Background
Alexis was born and raised in Abbotsford, Wisconsin. She attended the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point (“UWSP”) and graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts cum laude. She majored in Political Science, minored in Communication, and earned a certificate in International Relations. She spent her last semester of college studying abroad in Hungary at the University of Szeged.
Throughout her life, Alexis has always believed in the value of putting forth her best work. This dedication resulted in her graduating as co-Valedictorian of her class at Abbotsford High School and graduating cum laude at UWSP.
Alexis chose to major in Political Science because she has always been fascinated by how politics affect the daily life of each and every American citizen. While studying political science, she realized that laws, how they are written and how they are enforced, have the greatest effect on people. This sparked her interest in learning more about the law, and that interest was one of the many things that brought her to Krautkramer & Block LLC.
When Alexis was a child, her parents would remind her how important it is to always be kind and to help people who need it. This life-long lesson resulted in her knowing that no matter what career she would eventually choose, it had to be something that would allow her to help people. She loved growing up in central Wisconsin and especially wanted to help people within the community she had grown up in. Working for Krautkramer & Block LLC and helping people get their legal lives in order was the perfect opportunity for her to help as many people as she could.
Alexis enjoys hiking, kayaking, camping, and reading. She especially loves spending summer days kayaking down the Wisconsin River with her family and hiking the Rib Mountain trails with her little sisters and their family dog, Milo.
